In Morsano (Morsano al Tagliamento) the priest took it upon himself to compile a list of all the baptisms for the period 1640s-1720s (the first 2 baptism registers) and he listed them by surname in alphabetical order.
The list is messy at times, there are dates that are unclear and question marks. Sometimes he added dates of marriages and deaths, crosses for deceased infants, and wife/husband names. The use of different pens suggests the list was compiled and then they added more informations.
I have not reported each and every piece of info on the list, but all the essential data.
Under the column "Name" for the line near the Surname colored in blu, when reported, I added what the priest wrote about the provenance of the members of that family before they moved to Morsano.
I also wrote the names and surnames as they were written, only expanding some of the contractions (ex: Ant.° -> Antonio). You'll notice the names and surnames that are standardised today written in multiple ways (ex: today's Osvaldo written as Usualdo, Sgualdo, etc).
I'm currently compiling a list of these variations (those I'm finding while transcribing this index) that I'm going to post and update later on, and then link here.
This index list in its entirety is very very long so it's going to take me a while to transcribe, but I'll do my best. I already know some initials will be divided into multiple posts, and if one surname was very common in the area it's likely it will also have its own separate post.
