Casarsa at that time was a small town, averaging probably about 2500-3000 people. I could easily add up the numbers myself from this census, although remember we're missing a few pages and also this was an updated list, but luckily on wikipedia and other websites there are graphs that show the demographic changes on every town in Italy. They use data from ISTAT (national institute for statistics) from the various national censuses that were taken, starting with the first one in 1861 (1871 for some regions, including Friuli) every 10 years (with exceptions).
